The MILL P 800 U (S) is available with Heidenhain TNC 640, TNC 7, or Siemens SINUMERIK ONE, three of the most trusted controls in precision machining. Each offers an intuitive interface, advanced programming capabilities, and full compatibility with MIKRON MILL's smart machine modules, giving operators the flexibility to choose the control that best fits their existing workshop infrastructure.
Machine and Spindle Protection (MSP)
MSP is the world's only spindle protection system that works in all directions. Upon detecting a collision, it instantly deflects the spindle and triggers automatic emergency braking, protecting machine geometry, preventing costly repairs, and enabling a full restart in just 10 minutes. Always active and maintenance-free, MSP eliminates machine downtime and gives operators the confidence to run new programs safely from the very first cycle.
High-quality Spindle
The MILL P 800 U (S) is equipped with a high-performance STEP TEC spindle at 20,000 min⁻¹ with HSK-A63 interface, delivering 36 kW and 120 Nm of torque, covering the full range from high-volume roughing to fine surface finishing. The OptiCool design minimizes heat transfer to the machine structure, ensuring thermal stability and maximum geometric precision throughout every production cycle.
