High-efficiency milling
All rotary tables on the MILL E 500/700 U are designed and manufactured in-house by MIKRON MILL. Frictionless direct torque drives on both the rotary and tilting axes eliminate mechanical transmission elements, delivering no backlash, no wear, high dynamics, and repeatability within 10 µm for consistent precision across every production cycle and every material.

Built on a compact C-frame footprint, the MILL E 500/700 U maximizes workspace efficiency without sacrificing accessibility. The pivot-mounted control console, generously dimensioned pallet magazine door, and optimized chip flow design make daily operation, part loading, and maintenance faster and easier, keeping operators focused on productive machining.
High-quality Spindle
The MILL E 500/700 U is equipped with a high-performance STEP TEC spindle at 20,000 min⁻¹ with HSK-A63 interface, delivering 36 kW and 120 Nm of torque. The OptiCool design keeps the front bearing area cool while a heat barrier cooling loop prevents motor heat from reaching the spindle nose, ensuring thermal stability, high precision, and outstanding surface quality from roughing to finishing.
