The MIKRON MILL VCE PRO is the machining center built for contract manufacturers who need reliability, versatility, and maximum machine utilization. Available in eight sizes, from 600 to 2,000 mm X travel, and compatible with a broad range of optional equipment, the VCE PRO adapts to every workshop layout and every production challenge.

From 600 to 2,000 mm X travel and table loads up to 3,000 kg, the VCE PRO covers the full spectrum of part sizes and workpiece weights, giving contract manufacturers the flexibility to take on any job with a single machining center.

Fourth axis ready

A fourth axis connection is possible as optional, allowing operators to add an indexer at any stage without additional wiring, opening new machining possibilities without additional investment.

Workpiece setup

An optional infrared probe inserted into the spindle enables automatic workpiece detection, alignment, and measurement, significantly reducing setup times and keeping operators focused on productive machining.

Tool magazine

The VCE PRO offers a wide range of tool magazine configurations — from a 24-tool disc-type changer to a 60-tool chain magazine — to match every production requirement. The side-mounted double-arm gripper keeps the working area completely free, while parallel tool loading during machining and a chip-to-chip time of just 8 seconds minimize downtime and maximize productivity. As production needs grow, larger magazine configurations can be added without restrictions.

Chip and coolant management

A programmable coolant nozzle directs the jet automatically to precisely the right position after each tool change. Optional through-spindle coolant at 18 or 42 bar enables higher cutting speeds, easy deep drilling, and longer tool life. A side-mounted flushing system and spiral chip conveyor ensure effective chip evacuation and a clean working area throughout every production cycle.

High-quality Spindle

The VCE PRO series is available with spindle configurations ranging from 6,000 to 16,000 min⁻¹, from a high-torque belt-driven spindle for heavy-duty cutting and large-diameter tooling, to an optional STEP TEC inline spindle for high-speed finishing and small-diameter applications. Whatever the material or operation, the right spindle configuration delivers the performance and surface quality required.
