3-AXIS MILLING

Highlights

Roughing and finishing

The MILL P Series handles the full range, from aggressive material removal to fine surface finishing, on a single machining center, eliminating additional setups and significantly reducing time to market.

Thermal stability

A fully thermostabilized machine body, including spindle, drive motors, axis cooling, and table cooling loop, ensures consistent accuracy and reproducibility throughout long production cycles and demanding milling conditions.

Polymer concrete

Built around a polymer concrete machine base that significantly outperforms cast iron in rigidity and damping behavior, providing a reliable foundation for precision even under high cutting forces and hard milling conditions.

Automation ready

With tool magazine options up to 170 positions and pallet automation integrated from the back, every MILL P machining center is designed to maximize uptime and keep operators focused on value-added tasks.

Numerical Control

The MILL P Series is available with HEIDENHAIN TNC 640 (Gen.3) or FANUC FS31iB controls, combining intuitive interfaces with advanced smart machine modules including OSS, ISM, ITC, Econowatt, and Power Fail Protection for optimized, unattended production.

Chip Management

Designed for uninterrupted productivity, the MILL P Series features steep enclosure walls that optimize chip flow, wash-down nozzles that prevent accumulation in every corner, and heavy-duty chip augers built to handle high volumes of both aluminum and steel chips, keeping the working area clean and the machine running.

High-quality Spindle

The MILL P Series is equipped with high-speed STEP TEC spindles available in a range from 20,000 to 42,000 min⁻¹, covering the full spectrum of mold and die requirements, from heavy roughing to mirror surface finishing. Advanced bearing design, integrated sensors, and through-spindle cooling ensure precise, vibration-free operation across every cycle and every material.
