Body design
The MILL E 800/1200 is built around a generously sized cast iron structure, optimized through advanced FEA simulation for maximum rigidity and vibration absorption, even under full load and continuous operation. Pre-stressed ballscrews, high-rigidity linear guides, and a strongly constructed spindle head with internal coolant circuit complete a mechanical foundation designed for lasting accuracy and reliable daily performance.
Chip and coolant management
Six adjustable high-flow coolant nozzles, two air blow-off nozzles, and optional through-spindle coolant up to 70 bar ensure optimal cutting conditions across every application. Steeply inclined inner walls and heavy-duty chip conveyors keep the working area clean and production uninterrupted.
High-quality Spindle
The MILL E 800/1200 is equipped with high-performance STEP TEC spindles available in a range from 16,000 to 20,000 min⁻¹, adapting to a wide range of materials and cutting requirements, from heavy roughing to fine surface finishing. A super-rigid bearing design with hybrid ball bearings and through-spindle coolant enables milling with extra-long tools, aggressive material removal rates, and higher feed rates.
